Time Study (Time-Motion Study) is used to determine the most effective ways for an organization to use the basic factors of production, people, machines, materials, information, and energy to make or process a product or service.

Quantify potential costs savings opportunities. Help implement cost effective programs, Increase productivity and efficiency while reducing cost.

It is a measurement for direct and indirect operations:
For routing sheets. Floor layouts. Material handling. Machine utilization studies

Develop database using time, motion, and study methods to assess and optimize:
Human factors, Efficiency, Safety

Develops and applies time and motion study methods to determine appropriate production standards for:
Manufacturing operations, Design, Implementation, Maintenance of incentive programs, Operational efficiencies, Cost reduction programs
