Industrial Engineers Apply NOW!!!
The Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) was established and continuously evolved by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) to jointly act as the Department of Defense (DOD) Center for microelectronics technology, acquisition, transformation, and support. DMEA is composed of highly specialized engineering facilities and microelectronic engineers that work in close partnership with the major defense contractors and the semiconductor industry to provide support for fielded systems across all U.S. military organizations. DMEA’s unique resources, combined with a transformational business model, result in a one-of-a-kind organization. Because of this distinctive capability, DMEA’s mission was extended to support the full spectrum of the U.S. Government, including other Agencies, the industries that support them and allied nations. DMEA currently supports the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Energy, Department of Transportation, Department of Justice, as well as many defense contractors and international programs from the United Kingdom and other allies. DMEA's microelectronics specialists produce solutions that support critical active military operations.
