Chevron is excited to launch its Sales Development Program (SDP) for those interested in building their sales skills at one of the world’s leading energy companies. The SDP for full time is a fast paced 4-month program that will target a variety of critical areas to develop to help new hires get up to speed and ready to sell lubricants as quickly as possible. The program offers instructor-led, web-based, and hands-on training. Along with this, SDP participants can expect a strong mentoring regiment to help develop a variety of skills. We will follow a model that includes training, field work, collaboration, and skills reinforcement. Chevron believes that this model will help develop important skills in value-based selling, relationship management, sales technology, technical skills, and coaching. These skills are critical to building a foundation for a successful career in Chevron Lubricant Sales.


SDP Internships

Summer internships are project-oriented assignments located at our headquarters in San Ramon, CA. Internship assignments are in the Lubricants business and typically on teams and functions directly adjacent to sales including Sales Operations, Marketing, Sales Technology, and Planning & Optimization. In addition to a summer project, interns can expect to get sales experiences and training. Interns are often hired into our full-time Sales Development Program upon graduation.

NOTE: Internships are only open to those graduating in December 2020, Winter 2021 or Spring 2021.
